You have DOT and MC. That is not the whole job.

The numbers opened the company. Most CDL owner-operators hauling between states still need four things. Without them, the scale house writes the ticket, the broker will not book the truck, and an FMCSA review has an empty folder.

Why you still need them

  1. BOC-3 Your process agent in every state. Without that filing, the MC often never fully turns on.
  2. UCR Yearly registration to haul between states. Let it lapse and the scale fines you, even with the numbers in your pocket.
  3. Driver file (DQF) CDL, medical card, driving record. You drive your own truck. The file is still required. Under the rule you are the company and the driver.
  4. Drug and alcohol program First test, randoms, Clearinghouse. No program, and an FMCSA review often stops right there. This is not a later item.

The price. All of it.

BOC-3 Process agent, all states $60
UCR One year, 0–2 trucks $97
DQ file Driver documents $199
Drug & alcohol 1 CDL driver $275
Together $631

One CDL driver and 0–2 trucks. A different UCR year, more trucks, or a non-CDL driver is a different set and a different price. You buy your own insurance. If you already have a line on this list, we do not sell it again.

We do this work. Not a script.

"Tell me the truck and how you run. I will tell you which of the four are yours, and which are not."

Call. We will go through it.

The rules on paper are a mess. On the call we go through yours: CDL or not, between states or one state, and what is already filed. No pressure to buy. If $631 is your set, we file it. If it is not, we say so.
